From Joliet, IL, Lauryn Wilson started dancing at the age of 2. She grew up dancing for a competitive dance team throughout her childhood and early teenage years; training in many styles from ballet and contemporary to hip hop and footwork, etc. At the age of 15 she traveled with various conventions assisting many credited choreographers such as Lauren Gottlieb, Tyce Diorio, Katie Schaar, Gina Starbuck & Judy Rice.
In 2011, Lauryn moved to Los Angeles to then have opportunities to work with legends such as Missy Elliot, and appear as a dancer in a Disney movie “ABCD2” choreographed by Lauren Gottlieb. Lauryn is currently still dancing and training under many choreographers, continuing to audition and book jobs, along with teaching in the Chicagoland area. Most recently, Lauryn traveled internationally within Ireland teaching and training. Lauryn’s overall organic way of looking at movement brings a different light and understanding to her classes.
